We Set a Date!

Joe and I have been engaged about two and a half months now, and I still find myself looking down at my left hand in awe. It's so crazy that I have found the person I am going to be spending the rest of my life with, I really couldn't be happier! So just a few weeks ago, we sat down together and talked about when the best time would be to tie the knot. We considered things like finishing school, hopefully having stable jobs, saving enough money, having enough time to plan what we want, and being able to enjoy our time being engaged. We are so psyched about our decision! It's just so perfect. We love the idea of a spring wedding, it won't be (crazy) hot in Phoenix, and it gives us enough time to plan our wedding with no rush whatsoever! Also, it'a a Friday the thirteenth, so that's cool:) As of right now, we have about thirteen months until the big day, and me being the excited/ crazy organized person I am has already gone out and purchased several bridal magazine and even a planner! I tend to get a little ahead of myself sometimes, but this is a huge huge deal and I intend to make it perfect! 

Next month is our engagement party, I cannot wait. It really is going to be the kickstart of everything wedding related. I hope the family is ready! At the party Joe and I are going to announce who will be in our wedding party (bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl, ring bearer, etc.) and I am so excited to tell everyone. Unfortunately more than half of Joe's picks live on the other side of the country and won't be able to attend the party next month, but we are going to send them announcements in the mail and fingers crossed they will be able to be apart of our big day!
