Red Red Wine

When trying to decide what color to pick for this year's first "lovely hue," I thought it made perfect sense to start with the 2015 Pantone Color of the Year, which is Marsala. I absolutely love this color. It's a perfect wine-red color, and is just so sophisticated. I love it because it can be worn as either a neutral or pop of color, which isn't very common. As soon as I found out about the color of the year, I wanted to go out and buy so many things in the gorgeous shade. I just love it.

Pretty in Plum

I've never really been huge on any purples, but this season, I'm in love with this deep plum shade. It's so perfect for Fall, looks good on everybody, and reminds me big time of Blare Waldorf!

Gray has always been one of my favorite neutrals. It's actually a go-to color of mine, for clothes and home decor, it's not too harsh and works for every season! What's your go-to color?

Orange You Glad

This beautiful, pale orange color is one of my favorites for the season! I keep seeing it everywhere like in clothing, makeup, and even funky home things, like that awesome radio! Plus, I feel like it's flattering on my very pale skin tone, and probably every skin tone! In my opinion, a must-have color for Spring!

Blush Worthy

I don't know about you, but I've been paying close attention to upcoming Spring items, so excited for the soon season change, and I'm seeing a whole lot of blush. That pretty, pale pink, ballerina color. And to be completely honest, it's not a color I would generally go for, as I usually go for more bold colors for Spring, but for some reason this color keeps grabbing my attention. I'm starting to warm up to the idea of wearing this incredibly feminine color. I don't have a pink bow in my collection, and I love this one from American Apparel! I'm learning lately that you don't ever have to stick to one style, and it can be really fun to change things up and add some new, different things to your wardrobe! Pass The Mustard

Every year when Fall is just around the corner, you can really feel everyone's excitement. All you hear about is Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks, sweaters and cool weather. For me, my excitement is that I start to see my favorite color everywhere! I have always been so in love with this perfect mustard yellow hue. It grabs my attention every time! We are even going to use a lighter, springier version of it for our wedding! So happy September, mustard for everyone!
