Thinking: Mostly about pregnancy. I never thought I would be one of those women who is so consumed by her pregnancy, but it's honestly hard not to be. This is my first time being pregnant, and I officially have a belly sticking out (which I literally woke up to on Saturday morning, it was quite a surprise!) to remind me if I ever do forget for a minute. This is all so new to me, and it's a huge life changer, so right now it pretty much has taken over my mind. I don't want to be the annoying lady that can't talk about anything else, but that's just how it is, when there's something huge going on in your life it's hard to think about anything else. I'm sure soon enough I'll settle into my new state, probably right in time to actually have a baby and everything change again!

Doing: I started a prenatal yoga class last week and really loved it. Since gaining a bit more energy back I want to make sure I'm staying active and getting exercise. Other than walking the dogs with Joe, yoga so far has been just the perfect amount of activity. It's just so relaxing and calming.

Loving: The second trimester, less nausea and more energy! Also learning all about what's actually happening during pregnancy, watching Bruce Jenner being so brave and amazing, comfy maxi dresses, warm spring weather, fresh fruit and all things sweet, making summer plans, daydreaming about soon having a tiny baby to snuggle, and of course, my amazing husband who is always so wonderful to me.

The sky over our house was crazy a couple nights ago!

Reading: I'm working on reading of Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham, I'm a little ways in and already LOVE it! She is one of my favorite actresses/people ever and I'm really loving reading her work. She's just so open and honest and has such a unique writing voice. I'm actually trying to pace myself with this book because I didn't want to read the entire thing in one night like I was tempted to do, I want to make it last ;) I also just finished Landline by Rainbow Rowell and really enjoyed it. It was just an easy, young adult read (my favorite) and I want to read some more of his writing now.

Looking forward to: Oh my goodness, so much! There are so many fun things coming up that I can't wait for. For one, as I made obvious above, I'm so beyond excited for the upcoming season and holidays. This time of year just makes me feel so happy! And just so many exciting things are happening within my family that I'm really excited for!

Watching: Joe and I watched the season premier of the American Horror Story, and I really enjoyed it. That first episode made me really excited for what the rest will be like, seems like it's gonna be crazy! Did you watch it? What did you think? Then just our usual shows like Modern Family, The Walking Dead soon, and for me, Sex and the City reruns! Any good shows you've been watching lately?

Reminding myself: To slow down and enjoy where my life is right now. I always tend to get ahead of myself and get overly excited for the future (see above, ha) and instead of just being where I'm at, I'm constantly thinking about what will happen next. So now, I'm really trying to just enjoy myself, my life, right now, exactly how it is. Being in my first year of marriage and trying to figure all of that out, having two dogs that I love but annoy the crap out of me, having a retail job and still not really knowing what I want to do with my life, trying to sort out issues with my health. Although it might not seem the most glamorous right now, this is a special time in my life and I want to make sure I'm fully present. Huge, life-altering changes can happen at any instant, so I want to always enjoy the phase I'm at when I'm in it.

Loving: Being married, fall-scented candles, the iPhone 6, these cool mornings, warm afternoons, and cool nights, spin class, yoga, new music coming out this month, dinners at home, babies and more babies coming ;), dressing simply, new tattoos, the leaves changing colors, making holiday plans, and life in general.

So what about you? What are you currently up to? I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Enjoying: The last couple weeks of Summer. Yesterday was pretty warm out, so Joe, Katie and I went out for frozen yogurt and walked around downtown. It's so crazy to me that August is over, but September has a lot of exciting things in store; tattoos, trips, weddings, FALL, it's gonna be a great month and I'm really looking forward to it. But for now, I'm trying to soak up the last bit of Summer and sunshine.

Watching: Joe and I just started watching Modern Family, and we're loving it! I had seen a couple episodes of it here and there, but now actually watching it and paying attention, it's so good and funny! We love watching it together and laughing, if you haven't seen it yet I suggest you do, it's really good! Also been watching Pretty Little Liars, the mid-season finale was last week and it was cRaZy! Love me some overly dramatic shows about high school aged murderers ;)

Feeling: Inspired! Every year when Fall is just around the corner, I really want to go out and buy all sorts of Fall-related items. Sweaters, tights, boots, home decor, tons of Fall-scented candles, I love it all so much! Fall kind of feels like "New Years" for me, it makes me want to start fresh. I'm planning on doing a huge closet clean-out soon, I want to give away or sell all of my clothes I haven't worn in a while, and want to slowly start buying new things. Out with the old and in with the new!

Wanting: To continue to blog often. I feel like I'm doing better about blogging more often and feeling more confident about it. I've mentioned before how comparing myself to more experienced bloggers, or not getting a lot of comments and followers has made me feel insecure, but I'm starting to realize that I enjoy blogging for myself, not for those things. I love that I've made a few friends along the way, but I'm trying to make sure it remains something I do for my own enjoyment instead of something that causes stress or self-doubt.

Loving: A lot! Seeing Halloween stuff in stores, cooking dinner at home almost every night, slowly but surely getting our house together, experimenting with new makeup, making tons of Fall plans, and life being just comfortable and content. The past year up of our lives seemed so busy, and it's great when there are tons of things going on, but right now everything is just calm and we're really enjoying it! Sometimes boring can be good!

So what about you? What are you currently up to? I hope you're having a wonderful Labor Day!
Oh, and Happy September!

Excited about: Redoing my blog completely! I spent some time thinking about it and came to the conclusion that it was time for an all new blog design. And I actually hired someone professional to do it this time instead of trying to do it all on my own! I'm so excited to see how it turns out, and for you to see it too, so keep your eyes out for something completely new, should be up and running in a week or two!

Working: At a brand new job I just got! I haven't been working since a couple months before the wedding, trying to focus on all of that, and it feels good to be working again and helping out more. I'm working at a really cute little cosmetics boutique downtown and am loving it so far. I've never worked at a locally-owned business before and it's so much nicer than a big corporate place. So even though I really miss the whole crazy wedding time, it feels nice to be back to a normal routine again.

Loving: Having a new-born niece! Amelia is the absolute sweetest little thing I have ever seen, and I really love spending time with her. There are few things better in this world than the feel and smell of a fresh little baby.

Reading: I'm not really working on any big novels at the moment (suggestions please!) but I'm enjoying a book called The Bridesmaids by Eimear Lynch. This book was given to me by Birch Box for being a "Birch Blogger." It's part of their monthly book club they're doing. But this book is really fun. It's a collection of funny and cute little stories from real-life bridesmaid situations. Because I just got married, I'm really enjoying reading other people's silly stories from weddings. If you like reading true stories like this, I recommend this book!

Happy about: My best friend Katie just got engaged! Her now fiancé is in the military and came here for a week to visit when he popped the question. I'm so glad I finally got to meet him and can't wait to help her plan a wedding! She was such an amazing friend when I was planning mine, so I'm happy I get to return the favor soon! Something funny, too, our engagement rings are really similar! Completely coincidentally! We laughed when we realized that, thinking they would have special power when put together (they don't) but it's a really cool thing and I'm so, so happy for her!

Planning: On finally continuing on my sleeve. I know I've said that a few times already, but I'm really wanting to get going already! I feel pretty set on everything I want to get done, and have gotten a ton of advice and opinions from friends, so I'm feeling good to go! It's now just a matter of having enough money and time to get it all done close together. I don't want to spread out the process over a long period of time, so I'm hoping soon I'll be able to get started!

What are you currently up to? Whatever it is, I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday!

Feeling: SO relaxed. We just got home from our honeymoon a couple days ago, and it's really nice to be back to our normal, every day routine. Don't get me wrong, the week of the wedding when all of our friends and family were here, and the week of the honeymoon were so unbelievably amazing! But they were also exhausting. Part of me really misses the hype of everything and all the craziness, but another part is loving being back to how things were, just now I'm a wife :)

Excited about: Our wedding photos! We just received a package in the mail from our photographer with a flash drive of all of our photos. 1,093 of them to be exact! I had the biggest smile on my face while looking through them all. It was almost like reliving the day! Not to mention the photographer we used was absolutely amazing! Our photos turned out way more beautiful then I could have ever imagined! I never want to stop looking at them, I'm so happy we went with this photographer! I plan on sharing some of my favorites here once I'm able to pick a few, which won't be easy! We also will have a wedding video soon that I'll share.

Wanting: A new tattoo! I plan on continuing my sleeve very soon, I'm so stoked to get started! I have quite a few ideas on what I want to get done, but I'm also really nervous! I'm actually always a little nervous before I get a new tattoo, but I love all of mine so it'll all be good!

Reading: Ok, dont laugh, but I started 50 Shades of Grey. Almost all of my girl friends have read it (them) and insist that they are amazing. I actually didn't know anything about it at all, other than there's a lot of sex, which is something that never really interested me in literature, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I started it on our (very short) flight to San Diego last week and am in chapter 10. All I have to say about it so far is that it's okay. It's kind of cheesy and unrealistic to me. Something I usually like about books is when they feel real and raw and relatable. This to me, so far, feels like just an over the top, unrealistic romance novel. But I am going to finish it and see if I keep going anything sparks my interest.

Loving: Spending tons of time with our fury children, decorating our home with all of our beautiful wedding gifts, knowing after the wedding who our true friends are and how amazing they all are, staying up until 4 am with those friends just talking about everything and nothing, the gorgeous weather here in Prescott, eating tons of fresh fruit, finally feeling brave enough to possibly change my hair, making Fourth of July plans with friends, and being a wife, so much so!

What about you? What are you currently up to? Have a fabulous weekend, friends!

Thinking about: Way too much! I feel like my mind is just non-stop lately and I'm having to force myself to calm down so I can sleep at night. As I've mentioned before, I've always struggled with anxiety, and right now it seems to be at a peak. Nothing too crazy, just a lot going on. We are six weeks out from the wedding, and feeling like there is still so much left to do! As my sweet fiancé keeps reminding me, we just have to take care of one thing at a time and panicking will not help (something he's had to tell me a lot, haha!) But that is what we're doing. I wrote down the final checklist that consists of about twenty-five things and keep in it my purse with me, so every time one is completed I can check it off and feel a little bit of relief. My final dress fitting is Saturday and that'll be a huge thing to check off the list, so I'm really excited about that. I just really can't wait until the day is here and we can just relax and enjoy our special day together.

Feeling: Lack of motivation. I don't know if it's from being so busy or what, but I hate having days pass without posting anything on my blog, or even Instagram, where I usually post almost every day. I wanted to make sure when I started blogging that I wouldn't just abandon it for days at a time, but lately I just can't think of anything I want to share. I think it's a combination of being busy/overwhelmed and writers block. But I'm hoping on getting out of my social media funk soon!

Watching: There are so many shows and movies I'm looking forward to this summer! There's always a while where I'm kind of bored with everything on TV because none of my shows are going, but soon there will be so many and I can't wait! Orange is the New Black, Pretty Little Liars, The Fault in Our Stars, Maleficent, plus a bunch of action-y movies Joe will want to see, we'll always have something to watch, it'll be great! Anything you're looking forward to watching this summer?

Realizing: How incredibly busy this time of year is in my family! Lately it just seems like one thing after another! Between April and June, there are six birthdays, my bridal shower, Easter, Mother's Day, a baby shower, our wedding, and Father's Day. WHEW! Joe and I keep saying that once we decide to have kids, we will make sure they aren't born in this time frame!

Looking for: BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS! If you have any books you love, please share! I'm looking for a new great book I can fall into. There really isn't a better distraction than an amazing book, and that's just what I need right now!

Feeling: Really motivated! I've been getting up and going to the gym to work out every single day for a while now. And for me that's pretty impressive! I've never been the athletic type and always hated the idea of spending an hour at a gym when there is so much I'd rather be doing. But something inside of me has made it a little easier recently. I'm able to get up, even if I'm tired, put on my Nikes and drive myself to the gym. And for me thats usually the hardest part. Once I'm able to get myself there I work on some machines for a half an hour then jog for the other half. It's not much, but it's a lot for me, and I feel so much better physically and emotionally after a good work out. I really hope this motivation stays because I've never had it before and feel proud of myself for accomplishing what I have so far. I am even thinking of investing in a FitBit Wristband to keep better track of everything I'm doing. Does anyone use one or anything like it? What do you think of it?

Looking forward to: Valentines Day! It's the cheesiest day of the year, and I love it! I love that there's a day dedicated to celebrating the people you love in your life. Last year Joe and I didn't plan V-Day out too well and ended up taking In-N-Out home and watching movies (it was still a lot of fun!) This year we wanted to do it "right" and plan a special date night. We have a couple's massage scheduled in the afternoon then he's taking me out to dinner that night! I'm so excited! And even though we said we'd only do that and no gifts, he still brought home a perfume I've had my eye on for a while now. He's seriously the sweetest, and I can't wait to celebrate how much we love each other on Friday (sorry if that made you gag a little!)

Annoyed with: Hate to add on a negative one but I am SO annoyed with growing out my bangs. I usually always have them just in front and keep up with cutting them. But I decided for the wedding I want my bangs long enough to be pulled to the side, and so far it's been a bitch! They're the most awkward choppy length right now and keep falling in front of my eye. It's really not cute. I'm hoping they start to grow a little more gracefully so I don't have one eye covered in all my wedding photos! I guess if worst comes to worst I'll just cut them how I usually do right before.

Watching: Ok don't laugh, but Joe and I just got into Pretty Little Liars. I know we're like four years behind and not 16 year old girls, but we were out of shows to watch and it was suggested on Netflix, so we gave it a try. After watching the first episode we gave each other a kind of "eh" look, but decided to watch another, then another, and now we're hooked. The mystery of the show is a lot of fun to try to keep up with and it always keeps you wondering what will happen next. We're about halfway through the second season and enjoying it so far, but I keep wondering in my head how this same story can keep going for that much longer and if it'll still be good after a while longer. I guess we'll find out!

Also looking forward to: My bridal shower! It's planned for the end of March and I'm so excited! It's definitely going to be small since I don't have a ton of girl friends and most of Joe's family lives out of state, but I think it'll be nice to just have a small get together with family. As fun as bridal showers are, I really don't want to have to open gifts in front of people. I've always hated having all the attention on me, it makes me feel so awkward and I usually end up saying something stupid or embarrassing myself. It's a small thing, but I'm already nervous for that!

Thinking About: Wedding planning, wedding planning, wedding planning! We are about five and a half months away from the big day and I feel like there is SO much left to do! How did ten months of being engaged go by so fast?! I just know the next five will speed by, so we are going to be busy! I never knew until now how much really goes into planning a wedding, it's overwhelming, yet amazing. I bought my wedding dress a couple weeks ago, so that was a big check off the list. Next we have to meet with the DJ, pick out a cake, pick flowers,  order and address invitations, figure out a menu, make a couple hair appointments, get all the guy's suits, and book a honeymoon. And that's not even all of it! Whew, we've got a busy few months coming up!

Reading: It's actually really cool! A good friend of Joe's and mine has been writing a novel for the last few years and is currently in the process of getting it published! He's been meeting with all kinds of people to make this happen and it's really exciting! So besides the publishers and editors, Joe and I are the first people he's allowing to read it, and it's honestly so good! I'll definitely share more about this when it becomes more public.

Doing: I've been working out every single day recently, and loving it! I really want to stay motivated up until the wedding at least. Not only will I look better, but as someone who isn't usually that active, I'll be so much healthier. I really want to make it into a habit and make my body stronger. I have in the past become very discouraged with working out, feeling like it's not making any difference, but I'm sure if I stick with it a long time, I'll begin to notice changes.

Listening To: The album Foreverly by Billie Joe Armstrong and Norah Jones. I am such a big fan of both of these artists, so I was so excited when I found out they released an album together! They are so different on their own and together they sound wonderful! The album sounds very old country, and reminds me a lot of Johnny Cash and June Carter, so if you like them I'm sure you'll enjoy this album! It's also really cool hearing Billie Joe doing something completely different than Green Day.

Also Thinking About: Tattoos! The last tattoo I got was the lady on my forearm in June. And I'm completely itching for more! I've decided I do want to have my whole left arm done. I've been contemplating that for a while now and I'm sure now it's what I want. Actually, one of the huge things holding me back from wanting that before was other people. Did I want people to think less of me because I have a sleeve? My family hates tattoos. Do I want to be "a girl with a sleeve"? And I finally realized I really don't give a fuck (pardon my language.) I love tattoos so much and if everyone else hates them so be it. I want my entire left arm covered in beautiful, unique artwork. And then once that's done there are many other places on my body I'm considering tattooing, including my side, my feet, more on my legs, and maybe even my back. But first I need to figure out what I'll be putting on my arm. I can't wait!

Thinking about: The fact that in less than two weeks I will be shopping for my wedding dress! It's such a strange feeling knowing that soon I will be the girl I always watch on Say Yes to the Dress, it will be me trying on a ton of dresses, probably being overly emotional and crazy. As cheesy as it sounds, this is a dress I've thought and wondered about my entire life. Picturing it absolutely perfect in my head, feeling like a princess/ super model in it, haha. So now when I think about the fact that that dress will become a reality in only a couple weeks, I feel a lot of pressure, and only from myself! I am hoping I'm not my usual overthinking, indecisive self and am able to try on that one special dress and just know it's the one. If anyone has any advice on wedding dress shopping, PLEASE share!

Excited about: It finally being December! I'm seriously such a little kid when it comes to this month and the holidays. What is it about Christmas that makes everything feel so happy and special?! Whatever it is, I love it and can't get enough. I always want to do everything Christmassy this month; listen to the classic music, shop a ton, go to the annual Courthouse Lighting downtown, and hope every day it snows! I love everything about December and plan on taking full advantage of the wonderful things it brings!

Listening to:

...obviously.
Loving: Being able to spend a ton of time with my niece and nephew lately. I recently agreed to help my older sister out by watching her kids for her a few hours two or three times a week. I'm enjoying it so much! It's so much fun watching them play and talk and everything, they seem so smart for how little they are (Zaiden is four and Ellie is two.) I just love being able to be in their lives a ton and watch them grow up. They are my favorite little kids ever!
Wanting: To change my hair. SO BAD! I feel like I've had the exact same hair my whole life and I'm getting really bored with it. I decided I'm going to keep it as it is until the wedding (so it's natural and easy to style) then I want to start experimenting with it. I was thinking of maybe trying a pretty red shade like this or possibly cutting it to this length. If I were really brave I'd try to pull off this look, I think it's so cute! But let's be honest it'll probably never happen. I definitely think it'll be fun, once I'm married, to start off the Mrs. life with a new do!

Thinking about: Christmas shopping! Yes, already. I want to try to start early this year so I don't end up getting overwhelmed last minute. I love it so much though and always have so much fun with it! Especially shopping for Joe, I have a private Pinterest board full of ideas for him and cannot wait to get started! It really is the greatest time of the year, I always dive head first in to this season and want everything to do with it! Just last night I was walking up and down isles in Target and couldn't resist buying this giant candy cane! I just love Christmas way too much and it's fine with me if it starts early November!

Anticipating: My older sister's wedding next week! I'm so happy for her and can't wait to be apart of her big day! Weddings are so amazing to me and I always enjoy attending them so much! Joe and I keep looking at each other saying, "Imagine what it will be like when OUR wedding is only a week away!" That has got to feel so crazy!

Eating: A lot of homemade meals! Cooking is definitely not a strong point of mine, and Joe and I usually just end up going out to get food, not good! So recently I've really tried buckling down and preparing meals at home. So far, it hasn't been bad at all! I need to discover a few more recipes I can try and hopefully soon I'll have a wide variety of meals I can cook!

Annoyed with: People who are closed minded and judgmental. I won't name any names, but recently I have had to deal with people who go out of their way to tell me things like my tattoos were a bad decision and I won't be taken seriously in life. I'm so sick of hearing those things from someone who is supposed to always support me no matter what. I will never understand those who don't accept others for simply doing something that makes them happy and isn't hurting anyone. This world would be such a better place if everyone just lived and let live.

Wanting: To do more art. Very vague, but I'm not quite sure exactly what it is yet. I often find myself feeling creative and wanting to do something about it but never know how. I don't have any talent in things like drawing for painting (I wish I did) so I'm trying to discover something along those lines I could try. I guess for now this blog counts as something :)

Anticipating: This whole month! October comes with so many exciting things! Pumpkin flavored everything, cooler weather, leaves changing, Halloween candy. This is such a fun time of year filled with change, and I am going to try to really enjoy this season and everything that comes with it. Before we know it it'll be snowing out and time to prep for Christmas.

Reading: I was at Hastings the other night and came across one of my favorite books when I was eleven or twelve on sale for $2.99, so I had to grab it. It's called A Corner of the Universe by Anne M. Martin. I started reading it again last night and it brought back a ton of memories. I'm really glad I found it, although I started to remember the very sad ending and am not looking forward to rereading it! What was your favorite childhood book?

Eating: Healthier. Finally! Joe and I made an agreement recently to only buy organic, so all the shopping is at Trader Joe's, and we are only going to eat out one of each meal a week. I also tried cutting out caffeine about a week ago, because I know I'm addicted, but it came with horrible headaches. So now I'm just drinking a lot less than usual, but still having a little bit, and it's much better. Next we just need to get memberships to the new fitness center in town. Yay for being healthy!

Watching: Breaking Bad! Joe and I just got into it a few weeks ago, so we're behind. We're only about halfway through the third season and not letting anyone talk about the finale around us! If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it, it's awesome!

Loving: I know I've talked about it a ton already, but I am loving having pen pals! It's so cool getting to know these people strictly through handwritten letters. It all feels so personal. I'm having a ton of fun thinking up creative ways to send letters and fun things to include in them. And it's so exciting getting a new letter in the mail. I wish I had done it sooner, but I'm so glad that I am now!

Eating: Lots of frozen yogurt! A new place just opened up about three minutes from our house, so of course we're spending lots of time and money there! Sometimes you just can't beat good old frozen yogurt! Especially because it's so versatile. You can go chocolatey, fruity, plain, or lots of gummies. Or all of the above ;)

Watching: Girls. I just started watching season two and am in LOVE. So many people told me to watch it and as usual I said I would but never did. Too many times someone tells me about an "amazing" show that I end up being bored with. But I finally decided to give this one a go, and I'm very glad I did!  It really is like a younger Sex and the City. Which is awesome because I love that show too. It's hilarious and just really entertaining. Plus I have a huge girl crush on Lena Dunham! The only bummer is that it's only a half hour long and ten episodes per season.

Loving: My new camera. It's a Canon SL-1. Up until now I've only used Nikon for DSLRs, but after playing around with my friend's camera, I absolutely had to have one for myself. I've been playing with it pretty non stop. I really want to know how to use it 100% so I can make sure I'm getting the most out of it. I'm trying to get myself out of my iPhone photo habit. It's just so easy to grab my phone and snap a quick photo. But another good thing about the Canon is that it's pretty compact, so I'm going to try to start using it all the time.

Listening to: Everything on vinyl. My mom bought me a Crosley for Christmas last year and I'm pretty obsessed. It really does make music sound better. I love buying new music on vinyl, and also thrift shopping and finding really old ones. Usually based off of the cover art, ha! My grandma gave me a couple of her old Elvis Presley albums too, which I absolutely adore.

Thinking about: Mine and Joe's two year anniversary next month. It's so crazy to think that two whole years ago this guy asked me to be his girlfriend. I can still so clearly remember the insane butterflies going on in my stomach. That amazing feeling when someone you really like likes you back. These past two years went by so fast, yet I feel like I've been with Joe for so much longer. For how much has happened in only two years, it makes me so excited to experience many more years with him!

Thinking About: My wedding! There was a bit of a change of plans. We changed our date from September to June. So that gives us three less months of planning. Knowing June is a busy wedding month, we went last week to look at a few wedding venues, and am so happy to say we may have found the perfect place! We are going down again this Friday to go over some more details and hopefully making a deposit for our wedding location! It's good we are doing this so early, because our first choice photographer was already booked for that day! So crazy. I'm also now learning what everyone means when they say planning a wedding is overwhelming. We're still eleven months away and I'm already feeling a little stressed about how many decisions there are to make and details there are to go over. I'm really making sure I enjoy this time though, this is a once in a lifetime experience and although it gets stressful at times, I plan to enjoy it!

Watching: Orange Is The New Black. Joe and I discovered it the other night while trying to find something to watch on Netflix, and I'm so glad we clicked on this show! It's about a girl who has to spend fifteen months in prison because of something she did ten years prior when she was a crazy college girl. Now she has to leave her fiancé and comfortable life to live in a pretty scary place. It's a very funny and interesting show. We're really enjoying it so far!

Loving: How my house is coming together. I've been in the process of redoing my home for almost a year now, just little bits at a time. We started with painting the walls, then replacing furniture, now we're working on redecorating. It's a slow process but it's really starting to come together, and I'm glad we're taking our time with it.

Listening To: Dierks Bentley. Haha, yes I am a country music girl! Last night he and a few other country artists had a big concert here in our town to benefit the families who lost their husbands and fathers in the recent fire. It was so amazing to see so many people come together and willing to help those who need it. I also loved seeing such big music stars taking time out of their schedules to help out the people of our little town. Such an amazing thing!

Looking Forward To: My next tattoo! My appointment is in a little over a week, I'm so excited! I'll be sure to post photos once it's done :).

Reading: Been really into rereading things lately. There are so many great books out there that just need to be read again and again. The Bell Jar, Fahrenheit 451, Harry Potter, all just too good to be read only once! Also reading up business type things, trying to learn what comes with owning your own business. I figure it's a good thing to know early on if it's something you want to do.

Watching: Still not too much! Actually been trying to get into new shows lately, but nothing seems to grab my attention. I guess Sex and the City reruns will have to do until Bait's Motel and The Walking Dead are back on. But I would love any recommendations for TV shows if you have any!

Loving: This time in my life. I love being 20, and being carefree, but also being engaged and having a good feeling about where my life is going. It's a perfect in-between, and I'm really trying to not rush anything and just let life happen.

Listening To: I don't know how you all are feeling about the scandalous new Miley video (watch it here) but I really love it and her music. I know it's a bit risqué, but I think that's just the audience she is after. I don't see anything wrong with that. She is doing what she loves and I think that's wonderful. It's just music! Also listening to a lot of Lana Del Rey, Ed Sheeran, old vintage vinyls, all that good stuff.

Looking Forward To: Wedding events, BUT not for me, for my sister! She is getting married in November, and I am so psyched to be a bridesmaid! Last Saturday we went dress shopping, and she found the most beautiful wedding gown! I can't wait to finally be able to be apart of somebody's wedding (and actually be old enough to participate and know what's going on!) It will also be nice to learn more about it all from her experience and know a bit more what to expect when it's my turn next year.

Thankful For: The real heroes in this world. My small town has been through a lot of tragedy lately including a very big fire, and losing nineteen firefighters. My heart really aches for their families and friends. It really is a good reminder to stop sometimes and just really enjoy life, you never know what's coming next. But I am so thankful that this world has heroes like those nineteen people, who literally gave their lives to protect their community, what an amazing thing.

Been really into Starbucks lately, which is kind of weird for me, I usually don't like coffee. Hm...

Reading: Just downloaded a new book I'm hearing a ton about called "What Alice Forgot." I haven't started it yet, but plan to tonight (reading right before bed always helps me sleep!) but if it's a good one I'll be sure to post more about it! Also reading tons of bridal magazines! Every bride who has given me advise is telling me to start getting inspiration/ an idea of what I want as early as possible. So even with the wedding a year and a half off, I think its good to get a head start at least on ideas and possibilities!

Watching: Not too much actually. I've recently been much more into reading and music rather than TV. I have however been to the theater a lot lately, all for Joe though! Just in the past few weeks we have seen Iron Man 3, Star Trek, and The Great Gatsby (ok that last one was more for me!) But I know how much he is looking forward to the new Super Man movie, and of course I will go see it with him! I'm a good fiancé ;)

Loving: My fiance Joe so, so much. I realize more and more every day how much I love him and how lucky I am to have found such an amazing person so early in life.

Listening To: The new She and Him album, Volume Three. I'm really enjoying it! It definitely sounds a lot like their earlier stuff, they have a very unique sound, but I think they went with the "if it's not broke don't fix it" way, which is good because so many people liked their past stuff. So nothing very new, but still good!

Looking Forward To: My engagement party! It's later this month, and invites go out tomorrow. I'm SO excited to start all of the wedding related events. I'm sure the next one after this won't be for a while, but it's still fun having so much to look forward to! There is so much that goes into planning a wedding, and I'm sure it gets overwhelming at times, but I couldn't be happier about everything I know is coming up!

Thankful For: My mom. More than ever right now. I love having somebody that is always there for me and that I know will always have my back when nobody else does. Even other family members. I won't go into detail, but it's just such a blessing always having people you KNOW will be there for you through thick and thin. I love knowing that even just three or four people in this world love me and will be there for me no matter what. It's more than I could ever ask for!
