| Been really into Starbucks lately, which is kind of weird for me, I usually don't like coffee. Hm... |
Reading: Just downloaded a new book I'm hearing a ton about called "What Alice Forgot." I haven't started it yet, but plan to tonight (reading right before bed always helps me sleep!) but if it's a good one I'll be sure to post more about it! Also reading tons of bridal magazines! Every bride who has given me advise is telling me to start getting inspiration/ an idea of what I want as early as possible. So even with the wedding a year and a half off, I think its good to get a head start at least on ideas and possibilities!
Watching: Not too much actually. I've recently been much more into reading and music rather than TV. I have however been to the theater a lot lately, all for Joe though! Just in the past few weeks we have seen Iron Man 3, Star Trek, and The Great Gatsby (ok that last one was more for me!) But I know how much he is looking forward to the new Super Man movie, and of course I will go see it with him! I'm a good fiancé ;)
Loving: My fiance Joe so, so much. I realize more and more every day how much I love him and how lucky I am to have found such an amazing person so early in life.
Listening To: The new She and Him album, Volume Three. I'm really enjoying it! It definitely sounds a lot like their earlier stuff, they have a very unique sound, but I think they went with the "if it's not broke don't fix it" way, which is good because so many people liked their past stuff. So nothing very new, but still good!
Looking Forward To: My engagement party! It's later this month, and invites go out tomorrow. I'm SO excited to start all of the wedding related events. I'm sure the next one after this won't be for a while, but it's still fun having so much to look forward to! There is so much that goes into planning a wedding, and I'm sure it gets overwhelming at times, but I couldn't be happier about everything I know is coming up!
Thankful For: My mom. More than ever right now. I love having somebody that is always there for me and that I know will always have my back when nobody else does. Even other family members. I won't go into detail, but it's just such a blessing always having people you KNOW will be there for you through thick and thin. I love knowing that even just three or four people in this world love me and will be there for me no matter what. It's more than I could ever ask for!

Today was the first real hot day here in Prescott. Phoenix has already been quite hot for a while, and this year we aren't too far behind! It was a steamin' 91* here today! Not quite used to it yet, but after a couple months it'll be normal. But hey that's what sun dresses and sandals are for, and who doesn't love wearing those!

Friday, May 31, 2013
Happy Birthday to my fiancé and best friend! I will never be able to fully express my love and gratitude toward you, you are the most amazing person I have ever known. I hope you have the best day ever, you really deserve it! Here's to twenty-three years of life, and many many more to come!
Love you Buddy!
Outfit Posts
I think I am going to start a weekly(or so) outfit post, just showing what I wear a certain day and where I bought the items. Starting today, I wore this yesterday to go check out reception venues around town for our wedding. We are starting in Prescott looking at options, then soon will move on to surrounding cities like maybe Phoenix, Sedona, etc. So here it is:)

We Set a Date!

We are so psyched about our decision! It's just so perfect. We love the idea of a spring wedding, it won't be (crazy) hot in Phoenix, and it gives us enough time to plan our wedding with no rush whatsoever! Also, it'a a Friday the thirteenth, so that's cool:) As of right now, we have about thirteen months until the big day, and me being the excited/ crazy organized person I am has already gone out and purchased several bridal magazine and even a planner! I tend to get a little ahead of myself sometimes, but this is a huge huge deal and I intend to make it perfect!
Next month is our engagement party, I cannot wait. It really is going to be the kickstart of everything wedding related. I hope the family is ready! At the party Joe and I are going to announce who will be in our wedding party (bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl, ring bearer, etc.) and I am so excited to tell everyone. Unfortunately more than half of Joe's picks live on the other side of the country and won't be able to attend the party next month, but we are going to send them announcements in the mail and fingers crossed they will be able to be apart of our big day!
Well, that's about all I've got for now. It's just so fun for me to be able to look forward to these exciting thing coming up! I will for sure post photos of everything! Now back to the not so fun job hunting I've been doing. Have a lovely day!
Awesome Weekend
Sunday, May 12, 2013
This weekend was a pretty good one for me. On Friday we drove down to Phoenix to get my tattoo finished up. I'm not going to lie I had a really hard time with this one.
For some reason it hurt so so bad, when all of my other ones were easy.
I'm just glad it's done though, and really happy with how it turned out.
Then today (Saturday) was my niece Ellie's second birthday party, so Joe, Cory and I went to that enjoyed some hotdogs and played with little kids. I completely adore my niece, but she is also a nice little reminder that I don't want kids for quite a while ;)
Finally tonight me and a group of friends decided it would be fun to dress up twenties style and go see The Great Gatsby in theaters. It was a really great movie, and we looked pretty roarin'!
Here are some photos from my weekend.
