Handmade Valentine Swap: From Me

Hello everyone, hope you all are having a fab Tuesday! I don't know about you, but I'm so excited for it to be February! Like I've said before, Valentines Day has always been one of my favorite holidays, and I always want to do so much to celebrate. I talked a bit before about this Handmade Valentines Swap I'm participating in, and I finally was able to start. I was put into a group of five girls (myself included) and we were assigned to send each person a Valentine-themed package. I had SO much fun thinking of ideas and putting together a fun package full of hearts and pink and love! 

in each package I included:

a little handwritten note

a paint sample book mark

a darling vintage Valentine (which are free to print here!)

a little heart shaped notebook and pencil

and homemade sugar cookies, not the prettiest things ever but I tried!

So I can now send these out right away, and cannot wait to receive my Valentines from my partners! I will post photos of them as soon as I can!

&& A Happy New Year Letter Exchange: Project Two

This week I completed part two of the && A Happy New Year Letter Exchange Project (I posted about my first project here.) I had so much fun doing these two projects hosted by Papered Thoughts, I'm sad they're over! This was my first time participating in a mail exchange project and I loved it! It was so neat to be paired with a partner I had never met, and so much fun sending and receiving the projects we were "assigned."

For this project, we were told to stuff an envelope full of happy thoughts, positive words, and good vibes. I wanted to do this while sticking to the New Years theme, so like last time, I went with gold, glitter, and a fun, party feel.

I had so much fun thinking of ideas for this project, and even more fun putting it together. I really love being able to create fun things like this, and especially being able to send it out to a new friend. I don't want the fun mail exchanges to end, so I'm already signed up to do this Valentines Day one. I can't wait!

&& A Happy New Year Letter Exchange: Project One

Anyone who has been reading Sincerely, Cam a while knows all about my love and passion for hand written letters and snail mail. Last month I came across the && A Happy New Year Project that was completely perfect for me. It is a letter exchange project through the wonderful blog Papered Thoughts. Basically, everyone was assigned partners and given a task to complete and mail to their partner. The first task was a New Years Eve theme. We were to told to stuff NYE inspired paper goodies into an envelope and send it to our partners. I was so excited to start this. I pictured glitter and resolutions and inspiring words, so that's exactly what I did.
