Bachelorette Night

Tuesday, June 10, 2014

Saturday night was so wonderful. (All but one of) My bridesmaids treated me to a lovely dinner at a local restaurant followed by drinks downtown. We reserved a private room in the back of the restaurant to ensure we could be loud and silly without disrupting anyone else there. My little sister and maid of honor bought funny, bachelorette-y party favors (pardon the graphic straws!) that were the subjects of majority of the jokes that night, after a cocktail or two those kinds of things become pretty hilarious ;) We all sat there together for a good three hours and just ate and talked and laughed so much. We even had a gentleman in the restaurant offer to buy us all two bottles of champagne of my choice, so of course I went with Dom! Poor guy, haha! It was truly an amazing dinner.

After that, one of my sisters (the one who's not underage, pregnant, or has kids!) and Katie went out to a few bars down town for drinks. My "Bride to Be" sash got me a ton of congratulations and talks and drinks. I even two-stepped with a couple random cowboys, ha! All in all, it was everything I wanted and more for my last night out as a single lady. I'm so grateful to have such amazing sisters and friends.

Prescott Courthouse Lighting

Sunday, December 8, 2013

Last night was our town's annual Courthouse Lighting, and the first really cold night of the season. It's always so fun to get all bundled up and go watch the kids sing and the square light up. It's so beautiful and bright, and really makes this town feel so Christmassy!

Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday!

Pictures of Sunday

Sunday, November 3, 2013

Am I the only one who is completely shocked it's November?! I feel like this year has gone by so quickly, and so many crazy things happened. Now that this month is here, the events in my life are going to be non stop for a while. In two weeks, my older sister will be getting married, then there's Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, wedding dress shopping beginning of January (along with all other wedding planning events before June) then in March my cousin is getting married, my birthday in April, Joe's birthday in May, then mid June will be our big day!!

I am SO looking forward to all the exciting things coming up, and want to enjoy every second of it, because I've been told by multiple people how fast it all goes by. For now, I just am really enjoying these perfect fall days. Here are a few photos from our lazy Sunday. Sorry about the low quality, they were all taken on my iPhone :)

Saturday Love

Sunday, October 27, 2013

If I haven't said it a million times before, I LOVE October in this town! There are few things better than a Saturday in October spent doing random fun things. We started the day with breakfast at our favorite place (grilled cheese, yum!) and then met up with a couple friends to browse antique shops. I honestly have never really been into antiques besides old cameras and Matryoshka Dolls, but it's always fun to look. There are so many in this town and you just get lost in them, literally!

Then later that night we had a few friends over for a going away party. Two of our friends are moving to New Zealand in a couple weeks! And somehow we ended up celebrating by shoving a cake in one of their faces, see the video below...
Other than that mess it was a really fun night playing Quelf and eating pizza.

I hope you all had a fun Saturday as well, and have a wonderful week!

Tea and Birthdays

Monday, August 19, 2013

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a fun and restful weekend! Today is Joe's first day back to school. He's doing more classes online now so he can work too. I'm so proud of him! I love seeing him do what he loves and succeed at it. I really can't wait to see all his hard work pay off when he is able to achieve his dream job of being a graphic designer.

Not much is going on for me this week, just the usual. My weekend was nice though. Saturday, my good friend Katie drove up from Tucson to hang out. We sat and had tea and cupcakes and talked and caught up. It's always nice being able to spend time with old friends you grew up with and went through so much together. She brought with her her new Canon camera and I fell in love with it and HAD to get one for myself (thanks a lot, Katie! ;) But I plan to sell a couple of mine that I don't use anymore, so I'll feel better about spending that much money so impulsively. We had a great day though and I really hope to spend more time with her!

Then Sunday was my dad's birthday, so Joe and I headed out to his house to spend the evening having dinner and hanging out with family. I tried Saki for the first time (yuck) and we all sang terribly to karaoke. So it was a pretty fun night. Happy "29th" Birthday, Dad ;)

Here are a few photos from my weekend.

Have a wonderful week, everyone!
