Summer Staples from Tobi Part Two

The second thing I got from Tobi is this gray bodysuit. I absolutely love bodysuits because they make tucking shirts into high waisted jeans or skirts so easy. It stays nice and smooth all day, and you don't have to worry about parts coming untucked or wrinkled. This simple gray one is going to get a ton of use for me this summer. I can wear it with literally every pair of jeans or skirts that I own. I personally think a bodysuit is a staple for everyone as it can be worn so many different ways.

Summer Staples from Tobi Part One

A few things I always look for when I shop are comfort, ease, and of course, style. Tobi is completely perfect for that, they have so many options that fit all of those things, as well as being affordable! One of my favorite pieces from Tobi right now is this jumpsuit. I absolutely love it! The possibilities are endless when it comes to styling it, you can wear sandals and a bralette for an easy daytime outfit, or add heels and a jacket for a night out. It's just so versatile! Plus, I'm obsessed with this green color right now. It worked perfectly for walking around downtown with my family, then I just threw a black leather jacket over it for dinner. I know I'm going to be wearing this a ton throughout summer and probably into the fall!

Itty Bitty Us

As you all know, since I talk about it a ton, I'm getting married this June. Four months from now! And the last few months have been non-stop wedding planning and decision making. And anyone who has ever planned a wedding before knows just how many choices there are that are all on you and your partner. It gets pretty overwhelming!

Well, recently Jenna from Jenna Leslye Designs made this whole process one step easier by gifting us a set of her adorable hand-made cake toppers! Seriously, how cute are these things?! I absolutely love that they're personalized, so they're made just for you, and I'm a sucker for anything hand-made.

For our wedding, I really wanted to try to stick to mostly hand-made and DIY, since it gives such a personal touch to a wedding, so these cake toppers are absolutely perfect! She even added a little yellow bow to my hair, so cute! I can't wait to display these on our special day, and know they'll have a place in our hutch forever!

New Year, New Traditions

This new year coming up is a big one for me. It's the year I will become a wife, and start a whole new life with the person I am marrying. With that being the case, and the new year so close, I spend a lot of time thinking about what married life might be like. So many things change when people leave single life and enter the world of marriage. You're leaving one family and starting a whole new one! There are so many things I look forward to doing once I'm married, especially being able to start brand new traditions of our own.

One tradition I really look forward to starting with Joe is sending out holiday cards every year. Every time I get someone else's in the mail, it makes me so excited to be able to take our favorite pictures and send out a beautiful, festive card to all of our family and friends. It's such a beautiful keepsake to hold on to,  and a lovely way to look back and be able to see how you and your family has grown.

So since 2014 is such a special year for us, we decided to start our tradition now and send out our very first holiday card, marking this milestone in our lives. We found so many gorgeous choices for our card from Tiny Prints, and absolutely loved this card. It just gives such a joyous, celebratory feeling. Therefor it is the perfect start to our new tradition that I know will last for many, many years to come!
